The cluster of buildings that make up Duushús are among Iceland´s most remarkable and historic man-made structures. The oldest timber building was completed in 1877 and the youngest concrete structure finished in 1954. These historic buildings have been renovated and now include facilities for variety of cultural activities, including exhibitions and conferences. Today the complex includes four exhibition halls, including the Reykjanes Maritime Museum, Museum of Art and Museum of Heritage.
